Ordering & payment
How do I place an order?
Bohr Materials is quote-first: there is no cart. Send the item, product code, quantity and your institution through the quote form. Every price row on the site links to the form with the code and pack prefilled. You receive a quotation by email within 1 business day stating the total price, shipping, lead time and payment terms. Confirm by university or corporate purchase order, or pay the proforma invoice by bank transfer.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order.
How fast will I get a quote?
Quotes within 1 business day. Each quotation is valid for 30 days.
What payment methods and terms do you offer?
Bank transfer and university or corporate purchase orders. University purchase orders are accepted, net 30 for approved institutions. A proforma invoice is available on request for institutions that require an invoice before payment.
Who do you sell to?
Universities, research institutes and companies; orders ship to institutional addresses. Individuals without affiliation may enter N/A and will be reviewed.
Shipping & documentation
How soon do orders ship?
In-stock lots typically dispatch within 2 business days; stock is confirmed on your quotation. Lead times for items not in stock are quoted per order. Orders ship by tracked courier and the tracking number is emailed at dispatch.
How are orders packaged?
Solid lots are packed in sealed polyethylene bottles or sleeves inside padded cartons. Each label carries the product code, lot number and net weight, plus grade where assayed.
Are these materials regulated for transport?
Solid elemental selenium, tellurium, bismuth and indium are not regulated for transport and travel as ordinary parcels. Powders, compounds and international air shipments are reviewed before dispatch.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Quoted prices do not include destination duties or taxes; international buyers are responsible for duties and taxes, and should provide a phone number reachable by customs.
Do you provide a certificate of analysis or SDS?
A producer certificate of analysis is available for the specific lot on request; reference the product code and lot number from the label. An SDS is available on request, before or after purchase.
What purity grades do you offer?
Elements from 4N (99.99%) to 6N (99.9999%), depending on the item. The grade is stated on your quotation and on the lot label where assayed.
