Optical Windows
CVD diamond transmits from 0.2 to 25 µm, across the ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared and mid-infrared in one material. Polycrystalline apertures run to 150 mm and single-crystal to 24×19 mm, both with diamond's thermal conductivity and hardness behind the aperture.

Single-crystal windows with the lowest absorption and the best wavefront uniformity, in sizes to 24×19 mm.
