Quantum / Detector-Grade Single Crystal
Type IIa single-crystal diamond for NV-centre sensing, quantum computing and radiation detection.
Diamond is classified by its nitrogen and boron content. Type IIa has negligible nitrogen and is grown by MPCVD, and it is the grade quantum and detector work needs: nitrogen that was not deliberately placed is a source of noise, and a detector-grade crystal has to be electrically quiet.
Quantum and detector-grade single-crystal diamond is used for nitrogen-vacancy centre quantum sensing and magnetometry, for quantum computing, and as a radiation detector material.
We are not quoting this grade yet, and we are not publishing a specification we cannot stand behind. Join the waitlist and we will come back to you when it opens.
