Applications
CsI is the standard cesium source in triple-cation perovskite recipes. A few percent of cesium improves thermal and structural stability without sacrificing bandgap, making CsI a fixture of reproducible high-efficiency baselines. It is also a classic scintillator material in its own right.
- Triple-cation Cs/FA/MA absorber formulations
- All-inorganic CsPbI3 solar cells
- Scintillation and X-ray detector research
